Hello, today we come to C!Print, the 2023 edition of visual communication fair. All manufacturers of corporate communication and image printing in one pavilion. Come?
Practically all the suppliers of materials used by signage companies in Spain are present at this fair. In fact, it was almost traditional that once a year you would come here to see what machines had come out, so that you could make almost the investment of the year by coming here to a single fair and see if you would buy a large format digital printing machine, if you would buy a milling machine, etcetera, etcetera.
In this fair there is a mixture of signage companies, corporate image, but we also have companies that are dedicated to the issue of textile printing, a lot of T-shirts, for example, at the time of the corporate gift, also claim, they are also represented in this fair. In the end it is a mixture of everything that is corporate printing, the image, at the point of sale, in large and small format.
We are with Javier Del Pino, one of the CEO partners responsible for Oedim. What new developments have you had this year?
For example, we have this material, which is like a perforated window, but it's actually placed on the inside. The only thing we do with a plot. In the client's own design we put a weave that simulates the holes. We're printing on an ultra-clear vinyl, white plus black.
We are now with Manuel Blasco, from MB3D. This company has enormous experience in the realization of corporeal letters.
It is the turn of Sergio Rúa, CEO of VISCOM, a company dedicated to the commercialization of LED and digital products and solutions.
Once the fair is over, we are going to make an assessment, of course, subjective and with our own vision of what we think of C!Print 2023 and we are going to do it in sections to make it even clearer. As a great novelty in this new edition of C!Print, the Professional Fair of Visual Communication, is its new location at IFEMA. While previous editions of C!Print had been held at the Madrid City Council exhibition centre in Casa de Campo, this time and after years of negotiations, it has been installed at IFEMA, the trade fair centre par excellence in Madrid and one of the largest in Europe. The transfer to IFEMA has been a huge success. First for exhibitors, because it unifies all the areas of the fair in a single space and because the access of machinery and the installation of stands is infinitely easier than in the country house. For visitors, IFEMA is closer to the airport and has facilities such as parking and modern and spacious restaurant areas. Therefore, we are going to give the facilities section a 10. The organization of C!Print has been considering the fair for years as an event that brings together the graphic industry, visual communication and personalization.
